Norman Armour papers, 1913-1983

Consists primarily of correspondence of Armour (Princeton Class of 1909) with U.S. State Dept. officials, American presidents, and foreign leaders relating to his diplomatic career. Included are his article "Recollections of Norman Armour of the Russian Revolution" (1916-1917), based on his observations as Third Secretary of the United States Embassy in Petrograd, and some of his correspondence as United States Minister to Haiti (1932-1935) and Canada (1935-1938). There are also some reports, telegrams, transcripts of speeches, and newspaper clippings
