A comparison of the effectiveness of a theatre-in-education design and a traditional didactic design in an alcohol prevention program: Changes in self-reported knowledge, attitudes, and motivations

The study compares the effectiveness of a theatre-in-education (TIE) primary prevention program with a traditional didactic primary prevention program utilizing an experimental paradigm to assess the effect on student knowledge, attitudes, and motivations toward alcohol use and misuse. Qualitative measures were also used to compare students' communication skills and participation between the two programs
