Nicolaus Binder and John Torrey correspondence, 1836

Correspondence from Nicolaus Binder to John Torrey, dated 1836, in which Binder asks Torrey to send him any specimens of algae or zoophytes he can spare, particularly those from the region of North America, though he says he will happily accept others as well. A notation in Torrey's hand indicates that the letter was included "in a parcel from Lehmann."
