Let the games begin

"This was a service-learning project with children in a 2nd grade classroom at Kanesville Elementary. I chose ten different games that the children would play over a period of eight weeks. Through a Direct Observational Preference Assessment, I was able to observe what games the children liked to play. A survey was also completed by each student to help find what games were their favorites. A literature review was written to examine the benefits of using games in the classroom and in the home. It also talks about the benefits that come from playing games."
