ORAL HISTORY 78-70-01 Amante Tonseth Hanson talks about her parents, Thomas Henrick Tonseth, her father moving to Chena in 1906, traveling up to Alaska, her school in Chena, moving to Fairbanks in 1909, the school she attended in Fairbanks, her family house in Fairbanks, the bridge over the Chena River, the narrow gauge railroad from Chena to Fairbanks and Fox, fuel stops for the railroad, Jack Slippern, her brother, Einar Tonseth, her father's ranch on the Chena River, and damage from the 1967 flood.
