Enclosing [not present] a note for [Alfred] Comte d'Orsay, asking him to send it with his card to Gore House, saying that Lady [Marguerite Gardiner, Countess of] Blessington "est une Française-d'Angleterre et la gaieté de son esprit est une rare merveille à Londres," asking about the outcome of Berlioz's concert of 7 February, if [Gluck's] Iphigenie en Tauride was suitably ("convenablement") performed, and for the name of "ce nouveau John Kemble" who is playing [Shakespeare's] Othello, saying that Berlioz, "heureux poëte de la musique," does not need translators, mentioning Macready, etc.
