Abstract:
Requesting money; explaining that he had just been to Bath "as my wife sent an Express here to inform me she was very ill. I left her much better but the journey has half ruin'd me; add to this that I have no less than thirteen workmen to pay every Saturday. I am now without money;" asking that he send "seventy or eighty pds as soon as possible."
