Three orphans go through a horrible tragedy when their parents die in a terrible fire. Now they must go live with a horrible Count that is somehow related to them. The Count is after their fortune and by any means he will get it, one way or the other. I would not recommend it because it has no real ending, and it doesn't keep the reader interested throughout the book. If I didn't have to read it then I would have put it down.
