The translation of the New Testament is a thorough revision of Whittingham's Geneva New Testament of 1557. Double columns, 63 lines to a column. Preliminary quire of 4 leaves signed ***, containing a dedication to Queen Elizabeth and an address "To our Beloued in the Lord the brethren of England, Scotland, Ireland," etc. The chapters are divided into verses, and an argument is prefixed to every book. The new annotations are printed in the margin. |
