Jonathan Wood was born in 1720. He married his wife, Johannah Crompton (born 1725), in 1746. They had a son, Joseph, born in 1748 who married Ester Conklin in 1776. Ester (1758-1791) was the daughter of Joshua and Moly Conklin. Joseph married (2) Sarah Seco (born 1771), daughter of John and Charity Secor in 1800. Descendants lived in New York, Ohio, Nebraska, and elsewhere.
