Abstract:

When he is hired by Judge Ephraim Doolittle to stop a killer from exacting revenge on both judge and jury, John Henry Sixkiller goes undercover in an outlaw haven run by an amoral woman, but then his target comes gunning for him.

Hired by Judge Ephraim Doolittle to stop a killer from exacting revenge on both judge and jury, John Henry Sixkiller arrives in Kiowa City, Kansas. The murders were particularly vicious-- torture first-- and the judge is positive it was the brother of hung outlaw Henry Garrett. Sixkiller gets himself arrested, busts out of jail, and worms his way into an outlaw haven run by amoral Lottie Dalman, Garrett's lovers. But someone else is running the show-- and Sixkiller is his next target. -- adapted from back cover
