Abstract:

Recorded live at the "Youth Consciousness" Reggae Festival at the National Stadium in Kingston on December 25th, 1983, this video features the ever-popular reggae phenomenon Bunny Wailer. The only surviving dynamic talent from the original Wailers band and one of Jamaica's most treasured old-school reggae artists, Bunny began a long and successful solo career after leaving Bob Marley and the Wailers in 1974, which included Peter Tosh. Bunny was awarded his third Grammy for his monumental Bob Marley tribute album "Hall of Fame." Watch as Bunny and his fellow musicians perform favorite Wailers-era songs to an adoring, high-energy crowd. In this fascinating program, Bunny and his special guests perform classic hits like "Black Heart Man," "Ballroom Floor," "Rock and Groove," "Armageddon," "Crucial," "Dance Rock," and "Toughest." For fans of the Wailers, Jamaican music, reggae, or any other musical genre, this program is a rare treat not to be missed!
