Begins with a numbered series of 122 volumes with pamphlets from the period 1779-1812, divided by subject in rough chronological order; thereafter the catalog is largely retrospective, with material mainly from the 18th century but including items from the 16th and 17th centuries. Tracts cataloged discuss politics, government, economics, the American Revolution, Ireland, Edmund Burke, reform, poor laws, slavery, the Regency, the French Revolution, and Catholic emancipation.
