Abstract:

Finding aid to 2.3 million pages of microfilmed material on 3,194 reels pertaining to the fate of Jewish and non-Jewish Belgians throughout Europe during the period 1939-1950. The Belgian government collected the material during the postwar period until the 1970s. Includes registers of names from a wide variety of sources such as concentration and prisoner of war camps, relief and charity organizations, hospitals, prisons, etc.
