Collection includes: seven letters (one fragmentary) from Moise Kisling discussing the exhibition of one of his nudes which was shown at the Salon des Independants (marked by an editor for publication), expressing his pleasure at being mentioned in Bell's book, describing a lunch attended with Dunoyer de Segonzac, Colette and others, joking about the current affluence of artists, and taking pleasure in the sunlight and sea of Provence (1920-1926); two letters from Benedict Nicolson inviting Bell to speak to the Florentine Club at Oxford and explaining in some detail the nature of the group (ca. 1932-1936); and two letters from Ambroise Vollard arranging for Bell to see his collection of paintings (1911).
