Bound document relating to a patent of nobility to members of the Cosio family of Sigüenza, Spain. Includes manuscript copies of supporting documents and genealogical information. Family members include Alejandro de Cosia (a resident of Mexico City), Juan de Cosia, Leandro de Cosio, and Maria Angela de la Guerra. Manuscript on parchment. With two full-page painted decorations in color: one depicting the Virgin of Guadalupe, the other the arms of the Cosio family; and a portrait miniature in gold and colors (possibly Philip V). Leaden seal of Philip V included.
