Abstract:
My thesis aims at the development of new methods of synthesis of dendrimers and the study of their catalytic properties. In a first chapter, we describe the state of the art concerning the activity of catalysts having an external stimuli (chemical, pH, light, ....). From the bibliographic data, the context and objectives of my thesis are defined. The second chapter deals with the synthesis of a new family of dendrimers by using the "orthogonal" synthesis method and by introducing "functionalities" in the dendritic branches. For this purpose, we considered the synthesis and the use of an analog of 5-hydroxy 1,3-dicarboxaldehydebenzene that incorporate piperazine and 1,3,5-triazine units. In the third chapter, the synthesis of new families of phosphorus dendrimers using polyethyleneglycol and 1,3,5 trichloro-triazine as core is described. The fourth chapter deals with the synthesis of ferrocenyl phosphine ligands and their grafting onto dendrimers of generation 1, 2 and 3. Their complexation with transition metals has also been studied. The last chapter describes the use of these dendrimers containing ferrocenyl phosphine ligands on the surface as an agent for catalysis and electrochemical characterization.
