That paper was entitled, 'Elements in Christianity which Adapt it to be the Universal and Absolute Religion'. The latter part was an article in a symposium on foreign missions, which appeared in the 'American Journal of Theology', Chicago, in 1907, in answer to the question, 'Has Christianity the Moral Right to Supplant the Ethnic Faiths?' By the kind favor of the editors I have permission to use the articles, rewrought in this form for a wider use"--Preface.
