RBC c. 3: Binding: brownish purple fine wave grain cloth; decorated in blind; lettered in gilt. Publisher's catalog dated Sept. 1856 (8 p.) tipped in at front; presentation inscription on p. [1] of catalog: "For Mark from Paul [F. Betts?]. Bookseller's label on front pastedown: "Maurice Dodd / ... / Wordsworth House / Cockermouth". Note of former owner (Reed) on rear free endpaper. Gift of Mark L. Reed.

Illustrated bookplate on front pastedown: "Ex Libris Millicent Wedmore"; signed " A.S". On verso of half-title: small portrait of Wordsworth affixed to page within an ink border. Note of former owner (Reed) on rear free endpaper: "Colbeck ..." Gift of Mark L. Reed.
