Abstract:
"An extensive ethnobotanical field guide to flora in the upper Uruwa River region, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea, in the Nungon language. For over 400 plants, the guide gives local names in the Towet variety of the Nungon language, descriptions of each plant and its fruits or seeds, its relatives in the local taxonomy, the animals that consume its fruits, and traditional human uses. More than two-thirds of the plants have at least one identifying photo." --Publisher's note.
