Abstract:

This charming Australian Aboriginal folktale tells the story of a frog who drinks up all the water in the lake and grows to a huge size. But now the other animals have no life-sustaining water; the frog must be induced to give it back. Koalas, kookaburras, wombats, pelicans and other animals try to make him laugh, but only the dancing antics of the emus are successful. In fact, the frog laughs so hard that the water spills out of him back into the lake, and he returns to his own tiny size. Filmed in Australia in live action and animation.
