Notes: Not in fact by the Archbiship of Canterbury. It was written to James I in 1623 over the signature of George Abbot, then archbishop of Canterbury. However, the work was later proved to be a forgery. Sometimes erroneously attributed to William Sancroft, who was archbishop in 1689 at the time this edition was published.
