Library's copy bound in England in contemporary diced calf. Covers with outer border of broad and narrow gilt fillets; turn-ins with gold tooled fillets. Gold tooled panel backs with green calf lettering pieces and the arms of Sir Richard Colt Hoare stamped in gold in the upper panels of both volumes. Green endpapers; gilt edges; headbands.
Plates etched, engraved, and 1 woodcut; plates numbered 1-61and listed; of the unnumbered plates 18 are engraved portraits.
Plates printed by Hayward, and by Cox & Barnett.
Quarto format; wove papers; watermarked: J Whatman (W Balston & Co) 1814 (1815 1816 1817 1819 1821 1822).
