Abstract:

Management consultant and author Dennis Paul Kimbro was born on December 29, 1950 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He received both his B.A. and M.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma. Kimbro researched wealth and poverty in underdeveloped countries to earn his Ph.D. from Northwestern University. Commissioned by the Napoleon Hill Foundation to complete an unfinished manuscript directed towards African Americans, Kimbro released Think and Grow Rich: A Black Choice in 1991 as an update to Napoleon Hill’s 1937 bestseller, Think and Grow Rich. Kimbro appeared on CNN’s Larry King Live and was featured in several publications, including The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. He directed the Center of Entrepreneurship at Clark Atlanta University. In 2005, Kimbro’s second edition of What Keeps Me Standing: A Black Grandmother’s Guide to Peace, Hope & Inspiration was released. He published The Wealth Choice: Success Secrets of Black Millionaires in 2014.
