The Homerici centones, generally attributed to Patricius, were enlarged and rearranged by Eudocia, consort of Theodosius II; the Virgiliani centones are by Proba; the Latin translation of Nonnus' Paraphrasis is by E. Hedeneccius.
18th-century brown morocco, gilt double filet and central gilt ornament on covers, edges painted red. Provenance: "St. Mary's Priory, London" (stamp on title page). Acquired 1921. Imperfect: lacking leaves Q5 and Q6.
