Notes: | At head of title: No. XIV [i.e. XV]. An earlier printing has the name Greenwich in place of Enfield in title and imprint. Enfield was formed from parts of Greenwich and Belchertown, Mass., in 1816-1818. John Howe, whose name appeared as author on the title pages of the almanac through 1811, was also the only printer in Enfield. A printing advertisement under his name appears on the last page. Title vignette: seal of the United States. Bookseller's advertisement, and advertisement for "a small farm, pleasantly situated, and under good cultivation."--Page [24]. |
