Describes attempts to prevent the deportation of Jews by arranging work opportunities for them, his close cooperation with Gisi Fleischmann, the worsening conditions of Slovak Jewry, the Sereď labor camp, and his own eventual incarceration in Sereď and deportation to Theresienstadt, where he was liberated.
