Abstract:
In her San Francisco home, the photographer Imogen Cunningham discusses her art and the controversies which have surrounded it, including the nude photographs of her husband which caused a scandal when they appeared in 1915. The outspoken photographer also describes her "hack" work: making portraits of famous people including Wallace Beery, Spencer Tracy and Gertrude Stein.
