by dfdemello (WorldCat user on 2006-12-22)

A profoundly moving, touching and insightful last interview of the writer Dennis Potter by Melvyn Bragg. Watching this interview for the first time when it was screened in the UK in 1994, Dennis Potter provided the viewer with his raw perspective of a man who knows he is dying. At points through the interview Dennis has to excuse himself and take morphine to get through the pain of his cancer. The interview swings between the writers career, his books and plays and his own view of how he now views life from his unique position. He explains to Melvyn Bragg that he has continued to push himself to finish his last book and that he now can see life in an almost dazzling clarify.
