Abstract:

Three articles (revised and expanded) originally published in three British newspapers as a response to the publication in the "Morning Post" (12-30 July 1920) of "The Cause of World Unrest, " a 17-part essay based on the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" and claiming the existence of a Jewish conspiracy to dominate the world. Refutes myths of a secret Jewish government, Jewish exploitation of Freemasonry, Jewish responsibility for the French Revolution, and Jewish domination of the Bolshevik movement. Connects the British newspaper's discussion of the "formidable sect, " i.e. the Jews, with German antisemitism and Anglophobe myths. Stresses that the "Protocols" is derived from previous forgeries representing conservative and antisemitic views.
