Collection contains: notes on electricity, geology, botany (Washington County, OH), chemistry, astronomy; advertisement for book on silver dollars; memoranda, notes, calculations; reference to authorities in reference to Orrin Lindsay's two voyages to the moon and Mars (Riddell published a science fiction story giving an account of a fictional former student named Orrin Lindsay, who travelled to the moon and Mars).
