Summary:
Richard exiles his cousin Henry Bolingbroke and the Duke of Norfolk from England. When Bolingbroke's father dies, Richard seizes the property to finance his wars. While Richard is fighting in Ireland, Bolingbroke returns to England and seizes the throne. Richard is imprisoned and murdered upon the secret order of Bolingbroke, now King Henry IV.
