The collection contains manuscripts by Lewin and others, considerable biographical information - much of it written by other people after Lewin't death, records of royalties received for Lewin't various published works, and several films documenting experiments conducted by Lewin. Topics discussed in the Kurt Lewin Papers include research on social groups, Gestalt psychology, topology, the American Jewish Congress Commission on Community Interrelations, group dynamics, and issues regarding displaced persons during World War II. Many documents and pieces of correspondence are in German - in some cases there are English translations provided.
