Other manuscript documents include: list of the army at Rosendale (15); Treasurers of the Subsidys' letters to Essex, 1629 (13, 21); letter from Sir Edward Vere, July 29/August 8, [1629], describing the campaign in the Low Countries and the siege of Hertogenbosch (23); copy of a letter from John Carpenter to Sir Abraham Williams, August 8, 1629 (N.S.), describing the siege (24); an account of the siege (25); copy of Sir Thomas Roe's description of the campaign, July 28, 1629 (O.S.) (26); account of affairs on the Continent written from Frankfort, July 21, [1633?] (31); the declaration of the nobles, gentry and commons at their rendezvous at Nottingham, November 22, 1688 (printed as Wing D717) (33); and an order (printed with the sign manual of George III, King of England) to raise a regiment of foot, September 27, 1793 (34).
