Abstract:

IN FOCUS: COCA-COLA IN AFRICA. Coca-Cola products are sold in about 900,000 locations across every country in Africa. The company has established a distribution system that allows them make their beverages accessible even in hard-to-reach areas. We followed Coca-Cola's head of Africa and Eurasia, Nathan Kaalumbu, to Nairobi to see how it works. FACE TIME: MUHTAR KENT, CEO, THE COCA-COLA COMPANY. Considered one of the world's most valuable brands, Coca-Cola is available in every country in the world except Cuba and North Korea. The company has done business in Africa since 1928 and has committed to investing billions of dollars in the continent by 2020. Zain Asher sits down with the company's CEO, Muhtar Kent, at their global headquarters to discuss Coke's projected growth on the continent.
