Well worth the read by a high school student

Though the story does not end with great resolution, this story does accurate portray how the Klu Klux Klan was able to control and terrify towns in the south during the 1920s. 13 year old Woodrow Harper meets Senator Crawford and excitedly begins to think of him as a father figure, but learns Crawford...
