Correspondence regarding mediation with the garment industry and Cherry Mine; the business of the Opera House and his work for the Unitarians and as fuel administrator. Personal correspondence often reflects his social, religious and moral beliefs. Several letters from Clarence Darrow. Copies of his musical compositions, his writings for the local newspaper column called "Fancies of Fabius, and published works for journals and magazines, usually about labor. Copy of the Hart, Schaffner & Marx Labor Agreement. Copies of some of his speeches. Numerous letters and telegrams regarding his death. Letters and papers of the John E. Williams Memorial Society.
