A nice addition to any older kids library.

     This is a companion novel to Keeper.  The Penalty tells the story of a kidnapped soccer player, but also draws on the history of South America and the spiritual world to tell parallel stories. Peet's writing is engaging.  I would recommend this book for HS students.
