An excellent book that should be essential reading for all college students. Eleven major topics in customer service are covered in the book with activities throughout the chapters. They are the principles of quality customer care; knowing the customer; attitudes and habits and their effects on service; dealing with difficult customers; enhancing customer value; mastering the art of listening; projecting a professional image; projecting professionalism on the phone; teamwork; building customer loyalty; and best practices in customer service. I personally enjoyed the chapter 3: Attitudes and habits and their effects on service.
