Correspondence, reports, clippings, minutes, and newsletters relating to Spencer's activities as Minnesota Republican party chairwoman (1939-1949); her service with the American Cancer Society (1945-1956) and the American Legion Auxiliary (1923-1961); and her membership in various Winona and Winona County social welfare and educational organizations, particularly the Winona County Public Health Nursing Advisory Committee (1927-1967) and the Winona Office of Civilian Defense (1941-1954).

There are also letters from her son, Milton LeRoy Spencer, Jr., a student in Shattuck School, Faribault (1942-1945).
