Abstract:

"The Anglo-French Jaguar is a classic example of international co-operation in the creation of modern warplanes. Now well extablished as a front-line type of major importance in the air forces of both the UK and France, its true value as an operational and advanced trainer and tactical strike aircraft has been thoroughly demonstrated in service. In addition to service with Royal Air Force and Armée de l'Air uníts, the soundness of the Jaguar design and concept has led to important export successes. With continued orders from overseas and licenced production in India, the Jaguar has effectively made it mark as one of the most important combat aircraft in the West."--Back cover.
