Includes over 250 cases arbitrated by Cole between the Marine Engineers' Beneficial Association (MEBA) and numerous companies.

Significant cases include those between MEBA and the following: United States Line Company (1968-1977) on issues of insubordination, dismissal, employee failure to perform assigned work, violation of work rules, lockout, and wage rates; Tanker Service Committee (1967-1977) on issues of job duties, insubordination, overtime pay, company contribution to pension plan, dismissal, and job performance; Pacific and Far East Lines and Atlantic Steamship Company (1968-1977) on the issue of grievance procedure; Maritime Service Commission (1970-1977) on issues of overtime pay, wage rates, and pension plan; United States Steel (1977) on the issue of grievance procedure; Cleveland Tankers (1976-1977) on issues of grievance procedures and manning decisions; Seafarers' International Union of North America (1968) on the issue of union representation; Interlake Steamship Company (1977) on the issue of manning codes; Prudential Steamship Lines (1972-1977) on issues of portal to portal pay, discrimination, back pay, early retirement, dismissal, and insubordination; other cases.
