Abstract:

In the dank alleyways and shadowy corners of Gotham City, vicious criminals that not even Batman has the resources to combat must face Simon Dark, a modern-day Frankenstein boogeyman hero, pushes back the ghouls that go bump in the night. This mysterious creature of the night stars in this graphic novel series from Steve Niles, the writer of the graphic novel that was the inspiration for the horror film, 30 Days of Night. Niles is joined by artist Scott Hampton, his collaborator on the acclaimed BATMAN: GOTHAM COUNTY LINE graphic novel on this modern day retelling of the Frankenstein legend. Follow the peculiar hero on his tour of the netherworld realm known as The In-Between and get a peak behind the curtain and inside a strange world all too familiar to our titular hero in this third volume in the series.
