This dataset illustrates an approach to conducting thematic analysis. The data are provided by Dr. Pooja Sawrikar from Griffith University and are taken from a focus group study conducted in 2010 (when she worked at the University of New South Wales) with people with mental illness and their family carers. The example will be most useful for qualitative researchers interested in theming and analysing focus group transcripts. The dataset file is accompanied by a teaching guide and a student guide.
