Contents: Photos 1 and 2 have been mounted together and matted. Photo 1 is of the plaque that hung in the Officer's Wardroom of the U.S.S. Boulder. It reads, in part: The U.S.S. Boulder is named for the City and the County of Boulder, Colorado located at the foothills of the lofty Rocky Mountains. Photo 2 is of Welda H. Allott (who sponsored the creation of the plaque), and of Gordon Allott (United States Senator from Colorado).
