Abstract:

Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Weatherbee (and variant spellings) families in America. Some early ancestors immigrated to the United States from England in the 1600's. During the Revolutionary War, some families migrated into Canada. Many remained in British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island New Brunswick and elsewhere. Others later returned to the United States, and lived in Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Maine, Connecticut, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Vermont and elsewhere. Special focus is on the descendants of immigrant ancestors: John Wetherbee of Marlboro, Massachusetts; Thomas Wetherbee who also settled in Massachusetts; Bartholomew Wetherbee who settled in the early 1600's in Virginia; Edmund and Whitehead Weatherby of Southern New Jersey.
