First published as "A wonder book for girls and boys" in 1851.
Half-title.
Illustrated with colour line photoengravings (including frontispiece) pasted onto leaves, line photoengravings and tinted line photoengravings.
Initialled in ink "AR" (ie. Anne Renier) on lower flyleaf.
Library's copy donated by Anne Renier and F.G. Renier.
Presentation inscription in ink on half-title reads: "To Betty from a pal of her who wishes she wasn't so far away, J. Baxton, Christmas 1922."
