Notes: "This represents the fourth volume of the literary series Epilogue. I have thought it important at this time to suspend the work of general criticism begun in the first three volumes, and to make [this] special inquiry ... I hope soon to be able to renew the original programme with Epilogue V"--Page [ii]. Apparently no more of the serial Epilogue : a critical summary was published. The three volumes that constitute the serial proper were published 1935 to 1937 in Deyá, Majorca by the Seizin Press and in London by Constable.
